flactagger is a script for tagging FLAC files. It can extract information from file names if they're named according to etree.org's naming standards. M.A.M.E. Catalog / Launcher II (also referred to as QMC2) is the successor of one of the first XMAME GUI frontends available, QMamecat (derived from MAMECAT, which was text-only). QMC2 has been rebuilt from scratch as a Qt 4 project. Parts of the design and code were inspired by its predecessor. The new design was made as flexible as possible to minimize dependencies from frontend- and CLI-related MAME changes, which was a major deficiency of QMamecat. QMC2 uses a template-based MAME configuration scheme, which can easily be enhanced with additional command line options (defined in an XML template file). The joystick test and calibration widgets are now enclosed in scrollable areas to allow for better handling of high amounts of axes and buttons - PS3/Sixasis users will profit most (though there are still some open issues with Sixasis controllers). There are minor speed improvements for loading of XML and gamelist caches by reading data block-wise. The XML cache data has been trimmed, saving memory and disk space. The number of (real/virtual) CPUs is displayed on the system information page. The frontend and emulator log browsers can now be limited to the amount of lines they keep in memory.

Strasheela is a highly expressive constraint-based music composition system. Users declaratively state a music theory and the computer generates music which complies with this theory. A theory is formulated as a constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) by a set of rules (constraints) applied to a music representation in which some aspects are expressed by variables (unknowns). Music constraint programming is style-independent and is well-suited for highly complex theories (e.g. a fully-fledged theory of harmony). OpenAIS is an open source implementation of the SA Forum (www.saforum.org) Application Interface Specification. The project currently implements APIs to improve availability by reducing MTTR. It is possible to write redundant applications that tolerate hardware, operating system, and application faults. bbJewel creates a PDF of a cover for the listed MP3 files for the purpose of printing a jewel case insert. It parses each file and extract the title, artist, and length of the recording. It also scans the files for included cover images. You can provide the CD title and the cover image to use on the command line.

the mg2bot is an IRC bot that was originally written to do unique channel maintenance but which now sports a homebrew plugin system, increased channel awareness, and a bot networking capability. License: Perl License Changes:
This release fixes a scheduled event bug that caused the bot to freeze up in certain situations. It adds a wowitem plugin for looking up World of Warcraft items on wowhead. It adds random_quote, areacode, and emeter general bot plugins. It has a major overhaul of the calc plugin, which allows for the use of math functions like abs(), sqrt(), etc.

Manent is an algorithmically strong backup and archival program. It features efficient backup to anything that looks like storage. Currently it supports plain filesystems ("directories"), FTP, and SFTP. Planned are Amazon S3, optical disks, and email (SMTP and IMAP). It can work (making progress towards finishing a backup) over a slow and unreliable network. It can offer online access to the contents of the backup. Backed up storage is completely encrypted. Backup is incremental, including changed parts of large files. Moved, renamed, and duplicate files will not require additional storage. Several computers can use the same storage for backup, automatically sharing data. Both very large and very small files are supported efficiently. Some crashes of the Unicode code under Windows were fixed. On Windows, Manent now automatically switches the code page to 65001 (UTF8), so Unicode names show correctly.

Armangil's podcatcher is a podcast client for the command line. It provides several download strategies (new shows only, back-catalog allowed, etc), offers cache management, supports BitTorrent, and generates playlists for media player applications. WeOCR is a platform for Web-enabled OCR (Optical Character Reader/Recognition) systems. It enables people to use character recognition over networks.
